Over the course of a decade, home brewer phenom Kelsey McNair methodically planned his professional debut. When the time came to launch North Park Beer Co, he came to Mother Sponge with a clear vision for an Arts & Craft inspired brewery brand inspired by local Craftsman architecture and the broader Arts & Crafts movement. We dug deep into historical archives, developing an identity that was heavy influenced by the hand drawn lettering and typography of Dard Hunter and the Roycrofters of Upstate New York. The large scale beerhall style space called for heavy brand integration in the built environment. Mother Sponge collaborated with team at Basile Studio to infuse the brand into the space via environmental graphics and signage.
