Founder Scott Cebula of GameCraft Brewing Co came to the table as a life-long gamer with a vision to provide something missing in the Laguna Hills area– top score craft beer! Mother Sponge helped develop clarity for the brand premise, setting a gameplan to develop a fun-loving and fresh identity inspired by science-fiction titles that gave a small nod to the nostalgia of early video games. Mother Sponge developed an icon system and squad of “brewbot” characters to educate guests about the brewing process. An alien alphabet provides hidden easter eggs throughout the space and on packaging. Guests in the tasting room enjoy IRL social connection with games from cornhole and ladder golf to board and card games within a backdrop of sci-fi drenched wall graphics.
