Newtopia Cyder

Building botanical buzz.

San Diego’s first craft cidery, Newtopia Cyder began with a vision for Old World cider-making steeped in West Coast culture. Victorian-era “plant hunters” and their fascination with botany inspired watercolor illustrations. The premise was also brewed into operations, as traditional cider bases were remixed with exotic botanical ingredients from around the globe. Within a year, Newtopia rolled out a bounty of new cider flavors in 16oz cans, set it’s eyes on a second tasting room, and began to hit the shelves of discerning craft beverage retailers. Mother Sponge is actively working with Newtopia on new packaging releases aimed to splash poolside over the next year. The party is just getting started!
